Alex Horvitz, CEO
Alex is an international executive with over 30 years’ experience running businesses and defining and implementing growth strategies and operational transformation programs. Alex was an executive at Allianz where he was a Board Member of Allianz Worldwide Partners in charge of Innovation and Marketing for the B2B2C worldwide businesses covering Health, Assistance, and Automotive insurance. Alex was also Director at McKinsey & Company based in Europe and Latin America where he ran the Operations and Technology practice working with banks and insurance companies in Europe, North America and Latin America. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Luis Felipe San Martin, Managing Partner
Luis Felipe has vast professional experience in retail and public sector management. He worked at Procter & Gamble, serving in different capacities within the Customer Business Development team and also worked at Walmart Chile's commercial team. He served in the Chilean Government’s Presidential Delivery Unit and Ministry of Education, and he was subsequently appointed National Director of the Chilean Institute of Youth by the President of the Republic of Chile. Luis Felipe holds a Civil Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Chile, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a Master’s in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Ryan M. Smith, Associate
Ryan has extensive experience within the public and private sector. He has served as a special assistant and adviser to a U.S. Presidential candidate and has worked in multiple administrations. His private sector experience includes work at Perella Weinberg Partners asset management division, where he analyzed global hedge fund credit and equity strategies. In addition, Ryan worked as an associate at a leading Private Equity firm, where he spent time in portfolio operations and investment due dillegence. He holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Economics from The University of Kentucky and a MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Raphael Geronimi, Chief Technology Officer
Raphael has spent his career in the financial service and advanced mathematics industry. He spent 7 years directing data oriented programs for Société Générale's Investment Bank. In that role, he focused on structured finance deals, migration to Basel II, trader fraud detection (after Kerviel’s €5Bn rogue trade), and global IT transformation programs. He has 10 years of experience in corporate transformation roles, including 3 with McKinsey & Co. In additional Raphael has spent 5 years porting data science innovations from web giants to startup firms. He holds a M.S. in Mathematics from FrenchEcole Polytechnique.
